week 1

{week 1 of 52}

this is the first photo to my 52 week project of the year 2012. what better than to start the year with a photo of myself so i can turn back at the end to see how much i have changed. they say that the world is ending this year so i suppose i might as well document it for future walks of life.

i wanted to start this project in order to rediscover my love for photography. i've realized that i need it more than it needs me. last year i fell into somewhat of a jaded stupor the first half of the year. but in the ending half of 2011 i had found my happiness again but i realized that my life is not complete without my camera. so here's to a new year! let's make memories that we are proud to keep.
